First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Urges Nigerians To Embrace Peace, Compassion At Eid-el-Maulud

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Muslims across the country to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as they commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.

First Lady, in an Eid-el-Maulud message, said the celebration of the birth of the Prophet offers important lessons on compassion, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.

She therefore extended her goodwill and best wishes to Islamic faithful across Nigeria, advising them to emulate the noble virtues exemplified by the Prophet and promote peace in their homes, communities and the nation at large.

According to her, the values demonstrated by Prophet Muhammad remain relevant in fostering unity and strengthening peaceful relationships among Nigerians.

She expressed hope that the celebration would strengthen the bonds of unity among citizens and bring renewed hope, peace and blessings to Nigerians.

The First Lady also prayed for a peaceful and prosperous nation as Muslims mark the occasion.
