Nigerian Man Arrested As Ghana Police Foil Planned Bank R%bbery, K+ll Two Suspected Gang Members in Accra

The Ghana Police Service has foiled an alleged bank r%bbery in Labone, Accra, arresting a Nigerian national, Augustine Okechukwu Maazi, and k+lling two suspected members of the r%bbery gang during the operation.

The development was contained in a statement issued by the Ghana Police Service, which said Maazi was arrested while two other members of the gang were k+lled as the suspects allegedly prepared to r%b some banks in Labone, Accra.

According to the police, the operation followed intelligence indicating that a gang of r%bbers was planning to att@ck GCB Bank, Ecobank and Zenith Bank, all located in Labone.
