How my besties enabled the crash of my marriage— Businesswoman Aidah

Businesswoman Aidah has recounted how her friends allegedly influenced her during a brief separation from her husband, eventually making her realise the dangers of sharing marital problems with outsiders.

According to Aidah, she once left home after a heated disagreement with her husband because she feared the situation could escalate.

“I remember the first time I felt that, I told myself, instead of causing casualty at home, I’d rather walk out of this house, because when we are both angry, something bad can happen.”

She rented a place and initially planned to stay for just one night, but her friends encouraged her to take a break.

“Even marriage is exhausting. You need a break,” she recalled them telling her.
