Military Arrests Two Brothers Suspected Of Supplying Logistics to ISWAP in Borno

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested two brothers suspected of supplying logistics to ISWAP terr%rists during a farm protection patrol in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

The development was disclosed by counter-insurgency and security expert Zagazola Makama in a post shared on X. According to him, the suspects, identified as 25-year-old Audu Abdullahi and his 30-year-old brother, Shettima Abdullahi, both from Kasabalari village in Damboa LGA, were intercepted at about 10:30 a.m. on July 19 in the Nzuda general area by troops of the 19 Battalion (Mechanised) and the 25 Task Force Brigade Garrison.

Preliminary findings reportedly indicate that the two biological brothers were transporting supplies allegedly meant for suspected ISWAP f+ghters operating around the Wajiroko general area.

Items recovered from the suspects reportedly include two bicycles, one mobile phone with two SIM cards, an identity card, two bicycle tyres and tubes, six containers of Force Up pesticide, p@inkiller medication, a small solar panel, a rechargeable torchlight with battery, two locally made knives, and several other items.
