Ex-Flying Eagles Star Daniel Daga Cleared Of Sexual Misconduct

Former Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga has been acquitted of s+xual assa¥lt by a Norwegian appeal court, overturning an earlier ruling that sentenced him to six months in prison.

His club, Molde FK, confirmed the decision in a statement released on Thursday after the Frostating Court of Appeal delivered its unanimous verdict.

Daga had been convicted in March over an alleged s+xual assa¥lt involving an unnamed woman in April 2025. He was formally charged on December 19, and following the conviction, Molde sidelined him indefinitely from first-team selection.

With the appeal court overturning the conviction, the club announced that the 19-year-old “will be available to play for Molde FK in the future.”
