Three Nigerians Arrested in India as Police Bust Alleged International Dr¥g Tr@fficking Network

Three Nigerian nationals have been arrested in India over their alleged involvement in an international dr¥g tr@fficking operation.

According to The New Indian Express, the suspects identified as Ambemo Victor, 37, Chime Moses, 36, and Karikari Ames, 33 reportedly entered India on medical and tourist visas before allegedly engaging in illegal dr¥g activities.

The report said operatives of the Anti-Narcotic Wing of the Indian Central Crime Branch carried out the arrests while investigating two separate dr¥g tr@fficking cases in the city. During the operation, authorities reportedly recovered 10.27 kilograms of MDMA crystals and 2.044 kilograms of hydroponic c@nnabis, with the seized dr¥gs estimated to be worth about Rs 23 crore.

Security operatives were said to have acted on intelligence before raiding a residence within the Madanayakanahalli police jurisdiction, where the suspects were arrested.
