A woman rescued from kidn@ppers in Ogun State has recounted her terrifying experience in captivity, saying she had accepted de@th before security operatives stormed the forest and rescued her.
The victim, identified as Temiloluwa, was among five travellers freed by the Ogun and Lagos State joint security outfit, Operation Kosaye, during a coordinated rescue mission in the Ogbere forest area.
Speaking at the Police Training School in Iperu-Remo, she said she was travelling from Edo State to Lagos for her annual leave when armed kidn@ppers ambushed their vehicle along the Ogbere axis of Ijebu East Local Government Area.
