Motorists driving tinted vehicles in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been put on notice as the FCT Police Command says possession of a tinted permit will no longer shield offenders from arrest.
The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Sanusi, issued the warning as the command intensified enforcement of regulations on tinted vehicles, a move aimed at tackling crimes such as k+dnappings, armed robb£ry, dr¥g tr+fficking and other criminal activities in Abuja.
Speaking in a video shared by the command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, Sanusi declared that all tinted vehicles would be subjected to scrutiny regardless of whether their owners possess permits.
