2 men bag 23 years in jail for k+lling a Nigerian man in an auto cr@sh caused by their recklessness in the UK

Two men have been sentenced to a combined 24 years behind bars after their reckless driving led to the d+ath of Nigerian man, Sylvester Abayomi, in a horrific cr@sh in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Sylvester Abayomi was k+lled in March 2026 while on his way to work when a speeding Volkswagen Golf ran a red light and sl@mmed into his vehicle at a junction on Kingsway.

The driver, Uways Hussain, was sentenced to 11 years and eight months in prison, while passenger Usmon Mahmood received 12 years and nine months.

Police said the pair spent the night racing through South Manchester at speeds exceeding 100mph on roads with a 30mph limit.
