Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement in the Northwest, Abdullahi Yakasai, has defended the policies of the Tinubu administration, insisting that government interventions are already easing hardship across the country.
Speaking during an interview on Arise TV on Wednesday, Yakasai said the president distributed “20 trucks of rice across the 36 states of the federation” to support Nigerians struggling with the economy.
According to him, “The federal government also released “20 trucks” of fertilizer to state governments to support farmers, while Kano State received an additional 20 trucks of fertilizer to reduce farming costs and improve food production”.
