Multiple Residents Killed in Bukkuyum as Terrorists Strike for Over an Hour

Reports from Zamfara State confirm a deadly terrorist attack in Bukkuyum LGA, reinforcing the ongoing pattern of sustained violence across the region.

Heavily armed terrorists invaded Bunkasau village on the night of April 10, killing no fewer than 10 residents. Several accounts place the death toll closer to 20, with the majority of victims identified as young men.

The attackers arrived in large numbers on motorcycles, operated unchallenged for over an hour, and carried out coordinated shootings, looting, and destruction of property before withdrawing.

Residents confirm there was no immediate security intervention, with response forces arriving only after the attack had ended.
