Terrorist Attack Police Station in Niger State

Suspected terrorists in the early hours of Sunday First February 2026 invaded Agwara Local Government Area in Niger State.

Niger state Police Command confirmed the incident via a statement indicated that the terrorists invaded the Area about and attacked the Police Station in the community before setting it ablaze after overpowering the Officers.

The terrorists then proceeded to a nearby Church and burnt it down and abducted unspecified number of persons before retreating in to the nearby forest reserve. Security Agents are however monitoring the situation.
