According to information heard in a circulating video, the incident occurred in the Ighwre-Ovie area of Ughelli North Local Government Area. The woman allegedly confronted her husband over accusations of infidelity, which reportedly led to a violent confrontation.
Police voices in the video claim that during the chaos, she killed her husband. The situation reportedly escalated further, as she proceeded to attack the alleged side chick — the woman believed to be involved with her husband.
Most notably, police in the video also accused the suspect of killing a neighbour who attempted to separate the parties and calm the situation.
During a conversation with the police, the accused reportedly confessed to the crime, saying she didn’t know what came over her that day. She also disclosed to the female police officer interrogating her that she is a mother of three children.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody by officers of the Delta State Police Command. Authorities say investigations are ongoing to confirm the full details and circumstances surrounding the incident.
