Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has vowed to give his all to help Nigeria win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations as the team prepares for their semi-final clash with Morocco in Rabat. The Atalanta forward — one of Nigeria’s standout performers in Morocco with three goals so far — said his focus is entirely on lifting the continental trophy for his country, stressing that past experiences are behind him and the present challenge is what matters most.
The Atalanta star, who has enjoyed one of his best tournaments so far, is expected to play a key role when Nigeria face the Atlas Lions in Wednesday’s semi-final clash at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Algeria attempted to neutralise Lookman with a strict man-marking approach in an earlier encounter, but the Super Eagles found other ways to break through, scoring twice through Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams.
Having scored three goals in the competition, Lookman said his focus remains firmly on the present and on helping Nigeria lift the trophy.
