In the video, she filmed a calm, low-key neighborhood that appeared far from the glamorous image of America often portrayed in Hollywood movies. Her clip seemed aimed at showing that not every part of the US is flashy or luxurious, suggesting that some areas look almost “ghetto-like” compared to what many people expect.
However, many Nigerians were quick to disagree with her portrayal. Several commenters pointed out that the area did not look bad at all, noting that the roads were well-paved and that residents were likely enjoying basic amenities such as clean water and 24-hour electricity—luxuries that are still lacking in some parts of Nigeria, even in areas with impressive buildings.
